Site Placement and Pics (first entry!

I know this will be really cheezy right now, but I wanted to experiment and get this blog up and running. So here is a little info.

After two months of living in Cape Verde I have finally gotten to this blog typing thing! I will add more background article in the future. Here is what I've got now.

I will be living on Sao Nicolaufor the next two years.

I will be volunteering with Monte Gordo which is a protected area on the island. It one of two protected areas in the islands run by the Government of Cape Verde.

The peak of Monte Gordo reaches 1,340m above sea level.
